I didn’t mean to make you feel bad! It’s an interesting discussion and something I’ve thought about more as I travel more. I guess I just mean… if they can get tourists to pay that price good on them. I’d do it too. Things are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them :) And you often see the same handicrafts sold in Western countries at an exorbitant price so obviously there’s a middleman making a lot off money off the makers. So why shouldn’t they make that money themselves? I’m not saying I don’t haggle though (I do) but there are ethical questions around many types of commerce.
